3500/34 TMR繼電器模塊由兩部分組成：TMR繼電器模塊（兩個）和TMR繼電器輸入/輸出（I/O）模塊。通過編程，兩個TMR繼電器模塊 同時行使同樣的功能，有效地提供冗余支持。每一部分的功能如下（參見圖表部分的方塊圖）：
TMR繼電器模塊：
TMR繼電器模塊根據(jù)用戶編程的報警驅動邏輯，為4個繼電器通道的每個通道提供3個獨立的報警觸點信號。每個繼電器通道的報警驅動邏輯由3500框架組態(tài)軟件編程。在TMR框架內，用于報警驅動邏輯的報警信號（通道警告、通道危險、監(jiān)測器警告等）由三個監(jiān)測器通過三個獨立的數(shù)據(jù)通道同時提供。TMR繼電器模塊分別檢測每個數(shù)據(jù)通道，生成三個報警觸點信號，并發(fā)送到TMR繼電器I/O模塊。如果某一個數(shù)據(jù)通道的OK狀態(tài)為NOT OK，則與該通道相關的報警觸點信號將被置為無效。
TMR繼電器 I/O 模塊：
TMR繼電器 I/O 模塊包含12個繼電器，分為4個通道組，每組3個繼電器。這種方式為4個繼電器通道提供3選2繼電器表決功能。對于每個繼電器通道，TMR繼電器模塊提供3個報警觸點信號。每個報警觸點信號輸入到通道組中的一個繼電器。這些繼電器通道組從電氣設計上可以提供表中所列的3選2表決。此外，每個TMR繼電器模塊提供一個經(jīng)TMR繼電器I/O 模塊檢測的OK狀態(tài)。如果模塊處于NOT OK狀態(tài)，來自該模塊的報警觸點信號將不被檢測。

3500/34 TMR relay module consists of two parts: TMR relay module (two) and TMR relay input/output (I/O) module. Two TMR relay modules are programmed to perform the same function simultaneously, effectively providing redundancy support. The functions of each section are as follows (see the block diagram in the chart section) :
TMR relay module:
The TMR relay module provides 3 independent alarm contact signals for each of the 4 relay channels according to the user programmed alarm drive logic. The alarm driving logic of each relay channel is programmed by 3500 frame configuration software. In the TMR framework, the alarm signals (channel warnings, channel hazards, monitor warnings, etc.) for the alarm driver logic are provided by three monitors simultaneously through three separate data channels. The TMR relay module detects each data channel, generates three alarm contact signals, and sends them to the TMR relay I/O module. If the OK status of a data channel is NOT OK, the alarm contact signal associated with that channel will be invalid.
TMR relay I/O module:
The TMR relay I/O module contains 12 relays divided into 4 channel groups with 3 relays in each group. This method provides 3 out of 2 relay voting function for 4 relay channels. For each relay channel, the TMR relay module provides three alarm contact signals. Each alarm contact signal is fed into a relay in the channel set. These relay channel groups are electrically designed to provide the 3 out of 2 votes listed in the table. In addition, each TMR relay module provides an OK status detected by the TMR relay I/O module. If the module is in the NOT OK state, the alarm contact signal from the module will not be detected.
